Volunteering with the Happiness Horsebox
Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others? We help Volunteers find their niche - planning events and agreeing venues, helping to set up and take down on the day, grooming the horses the day before, greeting our visitors, or juggling behind the scenes to keep on top of the admin. When you join us as a volunteer training is available, expenses paid and many of these roles could lead to part time contracts as we grow
HGV Drivers
Attention HGV drivers - we pay a competitive rate for part time working! We need professionally qualified drivers for this 12T HGV to provide our unique mobile service. You need up to date DVSA Driver CPC, and the DEFRA Certificate of Competence. We can help you keep your qualifications up to date.
Equine Coaches
Qualified equine coaches can freelance with us. Build your EFL experience, support riders, manage interactions and witness the power of horses to make a difference. Our coaches are responsible for ensuring the welfare of horses too. Join our coach training programme and gain MHFA qualifications.
Meet and Greet
Join us as a meet and greet volunteer! Help us welcome people at events and countryside visits to create a memorable day out. Assist with simple duties, greet visitors with a warm smile, and have friendly conversations. Your contribution matters - we pay expenses and provide refreshments of course.
Research
Are you interested in research? Join our team and help us collect and analyse data to understand what makes an effective EFL intervention. We are also looking at measures of horse welfare too. Your contribution to these accredited studies will help us all understand horse-human interaction more.
